Founded in 2003 with the acquisitions of Computer Systems Products (CSP) and Americable, Inc., APA Cables & Networks combines the passive optic technology expertise of its founding members and parent company, APA Enterprises, to offer its customers a personalized approach to their cable and network requirements. The company has become a documented leader in optical performance, harsh environment performance stability and port density.

By listening closely to the needs of its customers, APA Cables & Networks designs cable management solutions to the precise requirements of the application. The APACN Fiber Distribution System offers panel density from 12 to 288 ports as well as a suite of complementary products including WDMs, DWDMs and passive optical components. APACN also provides a complete line of OSP cabinets and pedestals for today's FTTP deployments. In addition, APA Cables & Networks offers a complete line of fiber and copper assemblies for controlled and outside plant environments.

The APACN product line is utilized by multiple service operators (MSO), such as Wide Open West (WOW), Adelphia, Comcast and Mediacom; competitive local exchange carriers including AT&T Local Services, and independent telephone companies such as Surewest Communications, CenturyTel, and Paul Bunyan Telephone. As more and more fiber is deployed closer to the end user, the high density distribution panel is an increasingly important product in Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) access networks, where fiber management is vital to the success of the network.
